.::. Lazy Sunday .::.

The boy brought me to Botanic Gardens this Sunday. It's nice, but I can't comprehend why he wants to bring me there at 1pm in the afternoon when it was so hot and did not prepare any mats or picnic basket! *sigh I guess...not many guys will be so thoughtful and put in that much effort, especially so since we've been together for too long.

It was actually quite hot, though there are plenty of shades and not as bad since it got cloudy around 3pm. Chinook is a scaredy dog! When we got out of the car, the car parking beside us started the engine as they were leaving. And guess what??!! To my horror Chinook went under our car and went all the way in, refusing to move!! I was so embarrassed since the wife and daughter was standing there, waiting for me to get out so that they can get into their car. *sigh!!! Joey had to come over and pull him out forcefully and scoop him up. Goodness! If there weren't people waiting there, I might have found it amusing and took a picture of him trying to hide under the car.

I told him, next time, when we get married, I want to bring Chinook out for a walk every Sunday morning. Then we can have brunch and bathe Chinook before having a nap. Such a great way to spend Sundays!

Since he was a puppy, this has been his pose whenever he rides the car. Damn kaypoh looking out of the window when he's damn scared of cars and all things with wheels and let out weird sounds.

Daddy brought him out on an adventure today...to the...botanical gardens. At 1pm somemore. And it was apparent that it's damn hot.

Once he reached there, his toungue never found its way back into his mouth.

Very seldom do I get so many pictures of him with his toungue stucked out...

Our first stop to feed him some water...look at that mischievous look...

He's obviously looks hot but refuses to drink any water!

Sometimes I think he loves Chinook more than I do...

=)

I like this restaurant tucked in the greenery.

I kept trying to take pictures of him as he was walking, but it's impossible! He hates my camera and looks away all the time.

It was only possible when I make him go down.

One of the only decent shots when he's walking. He looks so funny peddling around with his tongue sticking out, dangling. One china girl even said that his tongue looked like it wasn't his at all.

Our second stop. We passed by the kiosk and I was too hot, needed a drink. When I came back with the drink, this was what I saw. It's funny how Chinook keep trying to find some place to hide.

Just look at him...

Totally trying to hide behind Joey's legs with his head sticking out.

Right under the bench. *shakes head.

I love orchids, but we had to pay to go in so we didn't. Not sure if Chinook is allowed though.

It's so damn hard to get him to look at the camera. People walking by was like "Puppy!", "Doggie!", "So cute!", "So long!". That about sums up Chinook the scaredy dog.

Chinook doesn't climb stairs, he's simply scared. And sometimes he happily climbs up the stairs unknowingly, then realised that those are stairs and start trying to get back down. *sigh. Such a scaredy dog! He had his tail tucked in between his legs the whole time, super wary of his surroundings. At least he's not darting around and was rather obedient.

We went to have lunch since it was already 2pm...seriously, who walks the dog at the park at 1pm?!! He should have brought me earlier and brought some mats and a picnic basket and cooler box!!

We had fries...with pizza...

It was the house specialty so I ordered it since it had mushrooms, bacon and ham...sounds like a safe choice and Joey wanted pizza since they looked delicious. Who knows it came like that, unlike all the pizzas everyone is eating. He actually exclaimed loudly "Why the pizza look like that?!" when the manager came with our dish. So embarrassing, he was like "Oh, this is our special pizza" and muttered something else which I didn't catch...It was actually quite nice and 'fresh' though not very tasty kind.

We continued strolling and found this big grass patch with many people having picnics and children rolling on the grass with big dogs. So cute! Many people were lying on the grass and reading a book too.

Strolling back to the car after lunch...

I think Chinook was getting tired...

I love this!

And this...

.::. Weekday Meetup .::.

Met Yanni for lunch and to hang out since both of us are not working now. *wee. We used to work together in the same department and she's a courageous girl who knows what she wants. =)

After lunch and some shopping, we sat down at Canele near the Shaw House to chill.

Le Royale cake @ Canele - bad service and not very special cakes. I rate it a 3/5.

My hp's camera seriously suck big time!! Look at the colour!! I'm too used to my SEk810's 3.2MP camera which takes fantastic pictures...

Yanni with her earl grey tea... =)
