.::. My Favourite Beach .::.

I'm finishing our Europe Trip photo book. Finally. I'm at our last stop, Sweden.

I feel so nostalgic. Very.

I have spent so many days on this beach, contemplating about life, finding peace, missing home and building meaningful relationships with people and myself.

This was the last time I was there, my last day in Sweden June, 2010. It's been almost 1.5 years!

Even when it was cold and the weather was far from perfect, I still walked to the beach when I felt like I needed it.

And when the weather was beautiful, the beach is stunning.

I even recorded a video and sang him his birthday song here.

With clouds.

In the evening.

When the sun sets.

When it's still frozen.

With friends.

=)

I miss Sweden so much.

Luckily, I know I savoured every single moment there. It couldn't have been better.

Hopefully, I can be back someday, back to my favourite beach.

I have been contemplating whether or not to take pre-wedding shots. But I have decided not to, because it's meaningless taking pictures in the studio to me. Many people head to places like Paris to take wedding shots, it's really pricey and too common these days. Taiwan is cheap, but I don't like the style. I like things to be meaningful, so unless I find a meaningful place, I prolly wouldn't spend my money on wedding photos.

The only place I want to have my wedding pictures taken? In Sweden. I can think of so many picture-perfect places which meant something to me and how we had a long-distance relationship then. But then, airtickets alone for 2 of us and a photographer would already cost $6k!

My favourite beach shall stay in my memories for now.

.::. Organized .::.

Are you one who uses organizers, or have you upgraded to electronic organizers?

I'm one of those who never fails to get an organizer every single year. My organizer MUST have a month-view and I don't really care about weekly/daily views since I graduated from school. I simply do not have so many things to write anymore. I just need an overview of the month and my appointments, income and expenses.

This is my 2011 organizer. It's really cute.

And today, I got my 2012 organizer. Super cute too.

I'm girly in a way, I tend to buy pinkish and cute stuff. But I never do buy any pink clothes nor bags and shoes. It's just that I like to add such cute touches to the little things I carry.

I love scribbling on my little organizer when I day dream and plan my life for the year, set saving goals, plans for holidays, shopping lists or any ideas that come across my mind. It's during these me-time that I evaluate my life and let my imagination run wild.

So yea, I reckon that my organizers is pretty juicy and personal. It has always been, and I have kept all my organizers since Secondary school! It still makes me smile when I flip through those pages.

.::. 69 months .::.

It's the 18th again, our 69 month anniversary. =) Although we don't celebrate it (at all), I always make it a point to remember the date and feel thankful for having someone in my life.

Now that our dear Jo is getting married, or ROM (*excited), it makes one even more reflective about relationships.

Every relationship has its own set of problems and sometimes people who love one another do hurt each other. But I'd always like to believe that no problem is too big for two to solve if both are willing to put in the effort and simply try. Once one party gives up, the relationship is over.

Relationships are hard work and takes time to grow and nurture. Marriage takes even more hard work and probably faces alot more problems. It's a scary thought for me, when all other forces come to play. As much as I would like to have someone to cuddle in bed with every night, marriage is totally not on our (my) cards within the next few years.

Mummy says that marriage is a gamble. It's true, it takes a leap of faith and faith is believing in the unknown - blindly, simply believing and hoping although nothing is absolute.

I'd always like to believe that things happen as long as you have enough faith.

*sigh. We have all come such a long way and I'm feeling all warm and mushy inside.

How time flies!

.::. Missing Sweden .::.

I really miss those days there, especially when old friends drop me a message. Those carefree days, my favourite beach near my place.

I've got an invitation to Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia and Greece! And I really would like to visit Emma again, Julia and Alex too.

I miss you girls!
