.::. God vs Religion .::.

If religion was so great, why has it started so many wars?

One thing is vital to mention.  How Jesus and religion, are in opposite spectrums.
See, one is the work of god and one is a man-made invention.
See, one is the cure, but the other is the infection.
See, religion says do, Jesus says done.
Religions says salve, Jesus says son.
Religions says you are bonded while Jesus sets you free.
Religion makes you blind, but Jesus makes you see.
And that's why religion and Jesus are two different clans.
Religion is man searching for God, Christianity is God searching for man.
Which is why salvation is solely mine and salvation is my own,
Not based on my merits or Jesus's obedience alone.

I don't exactly have a religion but I believe in god.  I truly do.

I keep telling people that I do not believe in religion (especially very strict ones), but I believe in god.  And people simply do not seem to be able to differentiate between the two nor comprehend why am I not Christian if I believe in God.

Simply because, I dislike religion.  I dislike the idea of living for god, in a master-servant relationship. I dislike how religious people can be so self-righteous.  I dislike it that it makes people less open-minded to differences between people and forget the most basic principle of respect.

What if God made your perfect other-half a non-believer?

And yes, religions make me feel bonded and I like to be free.

Oh well.
